Carolyn Underwood is 63
years old, married and has  
two children and four
grandchildren .

"Who ever would have thunk
it!  Five years ago I couldn't
even spell 'sewing machine',
now I am one... I never knew
that to give me the desires of
my heart (as God promises us
He will do for us) He would  
require me to learn to sew, to
quilt and to live in a foreign
country.  His ways are indeed
mysterious.
I am so grateful for the
women in the EMQCR group,
for their joy, their talent,
their faithfulness. We are a
wonderful example of the
meaning of the word, miracle.
God is the head of our group.
It is He Who leads us, Who
has given us the gifts and
talents to express our love
for Him in quilt."

Carolyn served as the first
President of the National
Quilt Guild of Costa Rica,
Quilt-Ticas in 2006.
